Students are required to have their own personal tools.  Leonardo Taxidermy School will provide a price list and assist in purchasing the required tools if needed. 

Specimens are required.  Students may purchase specimens from the school as needed to complete the course or students may provide their own specimens (prior to purchase or skinning, guidance is important to insure mount ability of the hides).  Listed below are the specimens we commonly have available for students.  Specimens not listed below, that students are interested in, can usually be purchased as well.  

Specimens available for purchase are:  Deer, elk, antelope, badger, raccoon, bear, coyote, caribou, moose, wolverine, otter, lynx, bobcat, pheasant, grouse, geese, ducks, water fowl and various other specimens are available upon request.
 

Mount Requirements

4 Birds – Waterfowl (any species), pheasant, and two last mounts will be of the bird of your choice. (There will be an additional charge for large birds such as geese, turkeys, etc.)

3 Big Game Heads – Mule deer, whitetail deer, and the third is an animal of your choice.

1 Rug – Coyote or rug of your choice upon arrangement.

1 Life-size Mount – any type large or small.

1 Skull – Of your choice.

1 Habitat base with any mount above.
